KashFlow is another cloud- based accounting package that can be used anywhere from your home computer to your smartphone. Still a very popular and simple to use accounting package for small to medium sized businesses, with a fabulous data search facility. For a locally installed accounting package it is hard to beat.
A simple to use web-based software available through an inexpensive subscription service. FreeAgent is primarily directed at independent contractors and really small companies — it includes a basic Schedule C worksheet, which is helpful at tax time, as well as some nice expense-reporting features, together with excellent time-tracking and project management tools which make it easy to recommend to freelancers and contractors in particular.
